About Rent It Keep It (RIKI)
The Rent It Keep It (RIKI) online course is designed to empower all current and prospective NSW renters with the necessary knowledge and tools to secure and sustain tenancies in the private rental market. RIKI is a useful tenancy resource for all renters to stay up to date with current and new information about renting in NSW.
This course is designed to educate people on their rights and responsibilities under the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 (NSW). It is about helping people to navigate all the basics from rental applications, to being a good tenant, repairs and cleaning, rent increases and ending a tenancy.
RIKI is open to everyone. It is particularly helpful for people with limited rental history, who have had issues maintaining a tenancy in the past, or people simply looking to learn more about their rights and responsibilities.
Applying for a rental property can be an overwhelming process. By completing the course, participants will have the confidence and information needed to apply for private rentals and manage relationships with landlords.
