Provider Description
The WRC provides a range of services for women within the Bega Valley. Our primary purpose is to assist women to live safely and to make informed choices by providing them with information, education, support and advocacy. The WRC runs regular workshops that support women to develop their skills as well as their self-esteem. The Centre also has a food re-distribution program supported by local supermarkets to provide free food as well as providing sanitary and personal hygiene items, free clothing and blankets (where possible) to women and families in need.
How to Access Services
Women can access the service by dropping in between 10am – 4pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Women can access support, information, referral and/or advocacy by phone in unable to attend the service. Women can be self-referred or referred by another service provider.
