Salt Care
Provider Description
Salt Care provides crisis and emergency care for those suffering from disadvantage. We do this by providing: Safe Shelter Shoalhaven, crisis overnight accommodation; Salt Assisted Housing, transitional, short, medium and long term supported accommodation; Salt Store, providing free meals, groceries and clothing; Specialised Support Workers working with individuals and families accommodated or supported by Salt’s programs to help with the complexities of homelessness, mental health issues, legal issues, medical issues and together finding a path to recovery.
How to Access Services
To access our service simply phone, email or just drop in to our office 5-19 Birriley Street Bomaderry.
Criteria For Accessing Services
Safe Shelter- Clients need to have nowhere else viable to sleep, and there must be a bed available.
Salt Assisted Housing- Clients need to be engaged with Salt Care on a regular basis and willing to be supported in their accommodation.
Salt Store – No criteria required to qualify for food or clothing
Salt MRV – available for homeless clients only
