PUTTING YOUR APPLICATION TOGETHER

We often receive high volumes of applications when we advertise available positions within SCH. Here are some tips to make your application stand out:

  • Submit a current resume (no more than 4 pages) highlighting your skills, qualifications, and experience relevant to the role you are applying for
  • Provide a cover letter detailing how you meet the key selection criteria outlined in the job advertisement (no more than 2 pages)
  • Submitting your application prior to the closing date through seek.com.au

Remember, only applicants who have submitted a resume and cover letter addressing the key selection criteria will be considered, and only short-listed candidates will be contacted. If your application is unsuccessful and you’d like feedback, please email recruit@scch.org.au.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

In addition to role-specific requirements, all new Southern Cross Housing staff must obtain, provide, and maintain the following during the course of their employment:

These checks are crucial to ensure we continue to offer safe and appropriate services to our most vulnerable community.
